Calderdale Valley of Sanctuary and Calderdale Libraries are proud to introduce the renowned author of ‘The Lightless Sky,’ refugee rights activist and former child refugee, Gulwali Passarlay, in conversation with Christina Longden, Writer in Residence from Kirklees Libraries.
We will also present and celebrate the esteemed Library of Sanctuary Award to Calderdale Libraries in recognition of their efforts to go above and beyond to welcome people seeking sanctuary.
