On 27th September 2021, we held a webinar to launch our new Experts by Experience Strategy. We are grateful to the organisations and individuals represented on the day for a fruitful presentation and discussion.

The Experts by Experience strategy is a result of research and findings undertaken in order to identify the needs of people seeking sanctuary, and for Calderdale Valley of Sanctuary to better understand hidden issues. The report’s creator, Iman, surveyed 33 participants with lived experience to set out clear recommendations for member and supporter organisations from Vally of Sanctuary to develop their own strategies and action plans based on the findings.
