We’re delighted to highlight Calderdale Libraries in the second video of our National Lottery funded Welcome Project series.

Calderdale Libraries are currently working towards becoming Libraries of Sanctuary. Not only do the local libraries provide free services and a safe space, they are also working to ensure reading material is available in a number of languages and that staff are aware of the specific challenges people seeking asylum face.
