-
Constitution
An overview of VoS finance was given by Lauren, who is one of the management committee members. She went through the details of the accounts for the year that ends on 31st March 2021.
Before the end of the meeting, the management committee trustees were appointed, and the chairperson called for more people to join the committee encouraging people of lived experience who got skills in finance and marketing/IT to express their interest in order to be involved.
The AGM had multiple entertainments starting with music played by Andrew Jones, one of the VoS members. Two children storytellers, Elias and Daniella, narrated their own stories which everyone admired. Their stories were a result of them attending a series of sessions on storytelling, giving them the skills to enable them to be storytellers. In the middle of the AGM, Nelson beautifully sang two songs: one in English and the other one in Spanish. At the end of the meeting, the family entertainment session was run by Bola, one of the management committee members who brilliantly involved the family in some interactive activities.
